Im looking to purchase a jayco j-series 1207 pop up. Any other recommendations or input from current owners? Is $7500 a good price for a new 2008 model? thank you

That's a good price for where I'm from. The cheapest we've found them is $8,300. I'm going back to them towards the end of the year to see if they're ready to part with it for less, though.

i would pull the trigger on that deal. we paid $7495 for ours. we have a 2008 with the customer value package, fridge, hw heater, outside shower and electric brakes. we havent used our pup yet but i have never heard anything bad about them and so far we love ours. the only suggestion i can make is.... we paid for a $$$$$ brake controler i think its worth it dont use the one that the dealer is selling you. and we replaced our stock awning with a carefree campout. good luck.

That sounds like a great price. We just purchase a used 2005 Jayco 1206 for $6400. Does it have an A/C? If so I would buy it in a heart beat. The new ones that we looked at listed for over $10,000.00. We are also going to replace our bag awning.

If it has A/C that sounds like a reasonable price. PUP camping is a blast, have fun.

Sounds about right to me ---- I think real question is how much off MSRP, otherwise we're kind of speculating. If you're not aware, Jayco (at least had, unless something has changed) an online program you can access in their site that lets you 'build' your Jayco model and gives you the precise MSRP with any options you might have chosen. Once you figure the percentage off that, you'll know how well you're doing.
I have a 2-3 year old 1206 which has a few issues, but overall, I'm enjoying it.
