The coach is less than 300 miles away from me so I'm tempted to go and check it out.
Anyone have any thoughts on the Bounders? What to watch out for ?

That sounds like a heck of a price--it could be true that you can't call him but he can call you depending on where he's at. Just take the coach to a RV dealer or small truck repair shop and have them go over it mechcanically and make sure everything inside works

This fellow wouldn't be stationed at Fort Riley Kansas is he? I saw a similar add about a month ago but different coach. Your description of the add is almost identical. Could not talk with him only leave messages and when he did email back always the excuse sorry it took so long I've been busy. What was funny is that he would pay for my plane tickets and all expenses for coming to see the moho. Funny but I lived only 5 miles from where it was supposed to be. The capper was when he emailed back and wanted us to deposit $5K ernest money into a MoneyGram to show we had the money to purchase the coach. Now whats $5K when he was asking $35K for the rig? Also if I didn't know where the MoneyGram locations were he would send me a map. In looking at the pictures in the add, it also struck me that the moho had no license plates and the surrounding area where the pictures were taken didn't resemble any locations around us. My final email to him asked him to provide me with his unit name and CO's name so I could contact them at the base. Never rec'd another response. Be careful. The add wasn't on RVTraderonline was it?

The way you can tell if this is a real deal is to ask for the VIN. If he won't give it to you, then this is the same scammer that's been placing ads for unbelievable prices. What he'll ask you to do is send him some sort of "retainer" or deposit via WU or another money order company, then you'll simply lose that money.
If you can't get the VIN, report the ad pronto where ever you found it. This jerk has to be shut down.

Best to go and physically check it out, drive it, get it checked over by a reputable RV repair facility. The Bounder has a pretty good reputation and I think it would be hard to beat the price.
Once again, for the payment, we will proceed as follows:
- $3,000 moneygram deposit ($2,900 to pick up) sent to you by your wife, in Marion, that you will pick up when we meet, and payable to me in front of the public notary when signing over the papers.
- for the balance you give me a check.
No funds will be exchanged until the full inspection on the rig is completed and you declare satisfied with it.
I will also give you a full fuel tank for your way back home.
As soon as your wife manages to do the moneygram deposit into your name, in Marion, I will book my flight ticket for at least 24 hours before and meet you next day, see the rig and all the papers, test drive it, check it at DMV, inspect it at the dealership and if as expected, we seal the deal.
As soon as the deposit is done, I will consider it a deal with you and reject all the other incoming offers I get, get my flight ticket and send you my flight details.
