We used TurboTax, deducted fees from CC, IRS DirectDebited amount owed in early April and still no DirectDeposit.

Hope you're right as we should have gotten ours the first week, like one of our sons. We've already spent most of our 2008 Tax Stimulus Money and I want to replenish the savings account!

We did the same CC for fees and direct debit from checking for taxes owed. Direct debit v. direct deposit must be the issue.

Had NO problem with mine, it came Friday, right on schedule, my sons actually came about a week early.
As far as spending it to stimulate the economy, all I did was stimulate my Governor, it payed my state tax, so my elustious Gov. can spend it on MORE roads in the DC area, which I NEVER use.

I got mine last week. I invested a portion of it where I felt our government would like to see it invested the most. I invested in Smith & Wesson.

I filed early (as in before the law passed) electronically with TT. I owed the Feds a little this year and paid via my bank account. but got money back from the state.
Our rebate I assume will be mailed but I have no way of knowing.
Someday it may show one way or the other.
