Our stimulus money was direct deposited into our account last Wednesday. As always, we used the H&R Block Tax Cut software for our tax return. We're using our money towards the wedding for our daughter next month. It was great timing for us.

How can you tell when you are suppose to receive the money? Is there a web site which gives the schedule of mail outs. I can't spend it or make any plans if I don't know when I will be getting it. Thanks...........

I used Tax Act, My stimulus check arrived Yesterday, as promised, direct deposited to my account

I paid the filing fee with my credit card, not deduction.

Aside from questioning the WHY in the first place, the giving some back to those who've paid, or paid their whole lives, may make some sense......it's giving it to those who never pay any tax that simply does not compute....(and I pay my cleanup/laborers more than twice minimum wage)

After paying through the nose for tax software and e-filing for years, I reverted to paper (costs total of $.82 for 2 stamps, one to Fed and one to State) to save money.

This year I mailed it January 29 and asked for direct deposit.

The "stimulus" money popped up in my savings account yesterday. Almost makes up for the refrigerator I was forced to purchase last month.

Found out today, to my dismay, that my stimulus check will not be direct deposited on May 16th as orig. scheduled. Seems that users of TurboTax, H&R Block, etc. that e-filed and had their fees deducted from their return, (Santa Barbara Bank & Trust) will not get a direct deposit, but a paper check instead.
I'm scheduled for July 11th now. Aw, phooey!
I still plan to use some of the $$ for camping!
Here's a link to Turboax's info page. I still love T-Tax, and will continue to use it!

Yep, my daughter found that out last week, much to her dismay. My son found out the same thing yesterday.

Waiting for the DW to get ready to go spend ours (it's not here yet either) but the dryer quit a couple days ago so we get to buy necessities with ours!! Oh yes, diesel is 4.459 a gallon here and we need about 100 gallons (in the 150 gallon tank). Almost have to take out a home loan to fill it now and my $8.19/hr job doesn't buy much!

But what is the minimum wage? Here is WA it's $8.19/hr. We have one woman that's spending almost her entire wage on gas and she makes more than I do at min wage! She likes the job but may have to quit just because the gas cost is so high.

I won't get mine till about July. That's OK, cause I will use it then for some new Lazy-Boy living room chairs. Hey! They are made in the U.S.!
