Yeah, I found this out last week. It seems that when they take the fees out or they do rapid refunds the routing number they use is the one for their bank and not the one for yours. This is an issue that a lot of people are really upset about. I guess we should have know something would muck up our getting the money. Oh well, just money I will have later, instead of sooner. We are schedualed to have our paper check sent out on the 16th of this month. So we might see it before the first.
So far I know we are going to pay off the outer CV joint, I had to put it on our Schwaubs account to get it fixed, because this hadn't come in before my appointment.
Buy a new Deep Cycle battery for tt, and two new regular lawn chairs for the trailer. We hate those folding quad chairs.
DH needs a new battery for his project pickup and the stuff he needs to finish putting together and running, then licens and insurance.
If there is anything left, it will pay another bill, or go into savings.

We just bought two Lazy-Boy living room recliners. Made the decision to buy them before we knew about the IRS stimulus check, but the money will come in handy anyway.

We did as well. Working overtime to pay for them. We are looking at the seat + 1/2 as the dog likes to sit with us.

I have not paid much attention to the stimulus check subject, don't know if we get one, or how much or when. I did use TT and efiled so I guess if we do get one it will be delayed.
Doesn't much matter as it will be used to pay a portion of the second half 08 property taxes due in Oct.

Don't know why anyone would want to have their TurboTax fees deducted from their return. It costs about double what it does to pay by credit/debit card after the "processing fees".
Doesn't TT charge like $19 for processing? I used them in the past, but this year not expecting the return, I figured out that printing 12 pages and 64 cents post-stamp are much cheaper.
Isn't spending now the money you WILL earn next year stimulating inflation?

I found out ours will be delayed as well. We didn't use TurboTax, but we had our direct deposit split into two different accounts. They'll send a check next month.

Must be nice! Not only has the IRS decided people like me (small business owner trying hard to create jobs) should pay more tax than most peole - they also decided we don't deserve a check.
Isn't that just plain AMAZING!
We pay more than most and then must happily sit here and watch everyone talk about the money they're getting.
I'm not upset with anyone who is getting the check. I just think IF ANYONE should get one it should be those who are sending the most in.
