On the PP reservation site this morning, looking @ Wheatly PP for the Thanksgiving weekend. All the hydro sites are gone! OK, who leaked out the info as to how much fun that Halloween weeknd is there? Never seen it fill so fast!

Don't know about Ont. but Alberta pre book sites start filling up in May. This is why we bought a lot & do not have to worry about booking anymore.

Every season, someone wants to know some really good campgrounds to go to and asks for suggestions. Some silly people do that (help out) and in the long run, could/may end up not getting into their favourite campground! Hunters don't give away their favourite hunting locations to other hunters. Fishermen don't give away the location of their favourite fishing spot. Why campers give away their best camping locations I have no idea. So yes, if you are to ask, I either do not respond or give away our least liked locations. If you think I'm being mean, sue me.

No, we're not going to sue you, everyone has their own opinions... guess we think a little different down here in SW Ontario.... but thats ok too, we sure have fun!

I never understood this either, like eager little kids who can't keep a secret.

What I want is to make sure I can get a good site at any of our preferred campgrounds which won't happen if I help people get what they want in the hopes that I'll get what I want, now that everyone knows what I want and decides to go there too.
