Well, just because you do some good things doesn't make up for the stupid things you do. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson probably do some things right too but the world would be a better place without them, same with the ACLU.

Amen, K2Rider, We won't mention JJ's illegitimate child or the recent 1.5 mil that AS owes in taxes because the government is trying to put him down. I am an outdoorsman. The fees I pay to hunt and fish do more for the wildlife and public lands than the money the Sierra Club spends on their lawyers to keep us from it. God bless America, I only hope that I can still get out and enjoy it in the next 10 years. One more thing, I noticed all of the "D's" myself.
Sorry for the "political post".

I was listening to Bob Brinker today and he outlined how successful the French and Japanese integrated nuclear power into their power grid. I think it is somewhere near 90% nuclear instead of relying on oil.
Unfortunately our Sierra Club has got everyone convinced that nuclear power is not an option.
If you have time and interest, here is a great article on why we need nuclear power in the U.S.
If we had gone nuclear, we could rely on domestic supplies of oil to use for hauling our toys at a more affordable cost for fuel. Maybe....

Well I was thinking about getting involved because I love to go off roading so if I start recruiting maybe we can get this club turned around.

Hmm, they are all Democrats except for one. Big Surprise.
It probably does not matter anyway, the country is going to **** in a handbasket anyway.
Their mission has been accomplished as far a fuel is concerned. Fuel just went up 30 cents in 2 days here. That means an extra $4.80 to fill up my small 16 gallon tank on the increase of just 2 days. Unbelievable.
1 dollar is worth next to nothing anymore.
For proof of this, look at our choices for President in November.
Obama, Hillary, and McCain.
If these people are the supposed "best" in the nation to lead us, and this is all we can come up with out of 300 million people, we are in real trouble.
