Thanks, DixonMatco. We do take the "PT" showers. We rinse off really quick, turn the water off, soap up, rinse off really quick again. This past weekend my husb was the ONLY one to use the shower. (Which is important to note because he doesn't have hair to rinse out!) When we left, the indicator said 1/4 full, so we added water. At 1/2 full per the indicator, water started backing up. Hubby says maybe because of the angle from hooking up to the truck... I don't know. It's pretty irritating. But I DO like your idea of using a tub for dishes and putting the water down the toilet... I'm tired of having to hold the flusher down to fill the black tank before we can leave! Why would they make the black tank so big? Or is it the same size as the grey, just not used as much??

*I'd include pics, but can't figure out what I'm doing wrong with the size of them!!
It may not be the valves labled wrong. On our previous trailer the bathroom sink and shower drained into the blackwater tank instead of the gray water tank. We also wondered how the blackwater tank filled up so fast until we figured it out.

Thanks to Fleetwood (or whoever placed the labels on) I have been emptying gray first and black second.
Luckily I have a label maker.
They weren't labeled backwards. I had the exact same thing happen in my Country Coach. A very kind RV service guy told me for free over the phone that in my model the shower was plumbed to the black tank due to it's location. Guess what, he was right.
