I bought a new ADCO cover for my travel trailer and regret it. Money down the drain. If it's better than any other brand, they are all junk.
They are not strong at all. I covered up what I thought were all the sharp edges and the only one I didn't think about was the license plate. That accounts for 1 hole. What accounts for all the others? Cheap material. It wore holes anywhere it touched when the wind blew. They gave me a small patch with it and it probably won't cover but 2 holes. I can buy more. If you want to ship the cover back prepaid they will ship you another piece of junk just like the one you had.
I hope mine was the exception and was the only one that was a piece of junk.

Too bad about the one you have. We bought our ADCO (100% Tyvek) from Camping World and have used it for the past two years without any troubles. We check it out every couple of weeks over the winter and make sure everthing is tight (straps, buckles, corners, etc.) and have no complaints.

Calmark's Sunbrella cover is excellent. I've used mine for several years in a windy location.

I'm free of prostate cancer for 5 years now.
All men over age 50 should get an annual PSA blood test. Mine had a low reading, but the yearly jump was significant. The biopsy showed cancer just entering the aggressive stage. Dr. Hackenslash removed it.

What type of cover did you buy? Aquashed, Tyvek, or Sunbrella?

I'm in the market for a new cover for my new rig and hope to make the right choice for a quality cover.

We use SunShield tarp and lay it over the top and and part of each side; hold it down with bottles of RV antifreeze. Going on 4 years now.

We've been quite happy with our ADCO cover, which has gone through 2 full winters so far with nary a tear. I suspect it's because we cinch it pretty tight, and that our trailer pad is in a fairly sheltered spot. We also padded all the sharp spots; some of the padding fell off (unnoticed) and the cover still is in pretty good shape.

Some fella near us has a similar cover for his MH and sort of threw it on, not bothering to fit it correctly; it tore a huge hole in one corner in the first year he had it.

Depends on how it's installed and how much wind your trailer is subject to, IMO.

We tore a hole in our ADCO cover the first time we put it on. My son went to pull it down over the back corner and it ripped. I used the patch they provided and have been extremely careful ever since. One of the zipper slides also would not work, the shipped us another one and I replaced it.

Mine has some holes, too. But overall I am very pleased with the cover. I am having a hard time figuring out if I might have caused some of the small tears. I used a snow rake as gently as humanly possible in a winter with over 120" of snow.....

Other then that I am very happy with it. ADCO will provide patches to your heart's content and the patch works great. I have used fine fish line to stitch patches on my prior trailers cover which also had a few holes.

The trick is to overpad everything that has a corner or 90 degree angle and to cinch the cover tight and re-check the straps every few weeks and the ends also. Good luck and sorry for your disappointment.

It's a cover, they aren't custom made so you must make them work well. Otherwise, tears and complaints. If you are really dissatisfied you might want to get a tent setup. Only problem there is way more dollars. I feel bad you aren't happy. I tore mine too, but I stitched it up. I'm happy that it keeps the dirt off and slows down the deterioration you get from exposure to the elements.
