When you are towing and have a electronic pre paid pass to skip the toll both, how does the toll for the TT get paid? Or are you responsible to stop and pay the TT toll. Or is it a perk for having the per paid device and you just run thru in the pre paid lane? Thanks for the info..

You need to check with the provider of the pass, but most likely, you will have to get another transmitter pass that is "rated" for the extra axles you'll be towing.
Or, you can just pay the tolls as you go, if you don't plan to use the TT on the toll roads very often. Just remember to wrap your existing "pass" in aluminum foil, so that it doesn't PAY when you are also paying cash.
You may be able to pull up to a combination booth (EZ-Pass or Cash) and pay the extra, but you'll be pissing off the people behind you.
Do yourself a favor, call ahead of time, and find out what is recommended.

I Have never had a problem anyplace that EZPass is accepted. I just drive through and the axles are counted and the correct amount is taken out of my account.

Can't tell you about Florida but NY requires separate transponders for towing or non towing. The unused transponder is stored in a foil pouch in the console and switched as needed.

Same thing here. EZ-Pass transponders are normally coded to a specific axle count. So I have two transponders, one for towing, one without the extra axles when towing.

The NH EZ pass counts my axles and bills me correctly.

Same here in NY, I have 3 EZ passes
The White colored EZ pass is for vehicle with no trailer
I have two diff Blue EZ passes, one for my single axle trailer and one for the tandem TT. I keep the unused ones in special bags in glove box.

here is a copy from their web page,
I sometimes pull a camper or trailer with my vehicle. Can I still use my tag?
Yes. In this instance the equipment in the lane is designed to identify that your vehicle is pulling a trailer and you will be charged accordingly. However, if you think this will be a regular occurrence, you should call the Customer Service Center and have them send you a tag programmed for the vehicle classification you use most frequently. You should never use your tag in a vehicle type other than the one you initially requested (i.e. Car tag in a tractor-trailer).
