I have a Holland American Alaskan cruise scheduled to leave Vancouver on July 6. I'll be traveling cross country to Vancouver for 3 weeks and will need to park my RV in Vancouver during the 2 week cruise trip. Is anyone familiar with Vancouver to suggest a parking location?
Burnaby Caribou RV Park used to offer a pkg deal. I used it about 6-7 years ago. Leave your RV on site they shuttle you to the port and pick you up on return. They have/had a toll free number.
There are a few options available to you. Some has been suggested already.
You won't find anything nearby downtown Vancouver - you have to drive out a ways. The only exception to this may be Capilano Park. It is just over the Lions Gate Bridge from downtown. But I don't know if they offer the service you are looking for. I could phone and check.
A couple years ago I arranged parking for a similar event. I don't remember where it was, but could go back through my posts and find it. There is a safe, fenced, guarded parking place for short to long term for vehicles. The rate was very reasonable and it was not too far from downtown. I'll try to dig out the info for you.
The cruise ships leave from the Vancouver Harbour, at the Vancouver Trade and Convention Center. All public transportation, cabs, limos, buses etc. can get you there.
On Edit, here is one post from a couple years ago. There is a link to click for the parking place. I called them and 2 years ago, they accepted motorhomes and the like.
