I am not getting 12v on somethings in my 5th wheel. The battery is fine and the landing gear and slides will work. The switch that shows the charge of the battery etc shows nothing... When the rig is pluged into shore power all of these things work even though they are 12V. The fuse box has 2 30 amp main fuses and both are good... any thoughts on what is going on??

Sounds like your battery isn't getting power to the convertor. Either a in-line fuse somewhere or the battery isn't charged or charging.

It sounds like you have a battery disconnect switch and it is disconnected.

I am leaning towards the inline fuse. No idea where it would be though...Could a problem with the inverter cause this or would that be just the opposite of what is happening?

I would think that you have a fuse blown somewhere. Are you sure there are only two fuses. My DC fuse box on my fiver has about ten fuses for various circuits. I would think that you must have a fuse box somewhere that you don't know about yet.

I tested the battery with both cables off of it and it read 12.60v. I then plugged into shore power and tested the positive cable and a ground and it read 13.73v. So I am assuming that is the charger working which tell me the wiring is ok from the charger/inverter to the batter. So why no 12v when the shore power is not plugged in??

It seems to me that there is a fuse in the line that runs from the batteries to the fuse box. Perhaps that is blown...
