We take our 33' 5'er from Seattle, via I-90, to Yellowstone and then the Grand Tetons for a few weeks around this Labor Day. We have reservations at the Fishing Bridge campground inside the Park. Does it matter which entrance we take off I90 to get to Fishing Bridge? We have never been to either park before, so all reccomdndations are welcome. We are 1000 Trails, RPI Preferred, and ROD Plus members.
All the best,

My preference is to take 191 from Bozeman to West Yellowstone then into the park. It is a fairly easy drive yet very scenic.

I agree with 191 to West Yellowstone. Went that way last Fall.
The North entrance, route 89 has a pretty steep pull between the entrance gate and Mammoth Hot Springs and then another grade going south out of Mammoth. The west entrance goes through a flat river valley.

Fishing Bridge is closest to the East Entrance, but that won't work for you. Looks like the exit for 85 in Belgrade is the best option. The drive into west yellowstone from there is a nice one.

I would agree that the West route is the EASIEST route but best is "most scenic" to me so I'd go through the park instead. There is no reason that EITHER route should present any problems so it really depends on what YOU consider is meant by "BEST". Good luck / Skip
