Thanks for the post! This has helped me get an idea of what I need to install on my TH. I picked up a small toy hauler and found that all the outlets, TV, AC and FRIDGE are all hardwire to the converter only -- not to the batteries or generator. The only way to run them off the generator is via extension cord from the generator to the shore dock plug.

I'd like to convert over to solar down the road since I have such a small trailer and relatively small electrical load, so I want to wire an inverter so I can watch TV, run AC, etc from the batteries (will be converting to 6v system soon too!).

What's the most straight forward way of doing this for me? I noticed on my converter it just has 950 watts listed as input -- is it essentially all about just "plugging" the converter into the inverter?
