Was curious if anyone with a Westlake has sway issues. If I go above 58 mph I can start seeing the rear of the trailer move back and forth, very unnerving. I've loaded what I can in front of the trailer tires. The trailer sits very level with my Jeep or slight down in the front.
So if you have a Westlake would love to hear how yours performs. Here's a shot of the trailer and Jeep from this morning showing how it sits.

It would be pretty simple to add a friction anti sway bar to stiffen the connection. Pop ups aren't subject to wind issues like travel trailers and passing trucks don't effect them much but single axle trailers are more prone to sway than duel axle models.

Yes! We have an '07 Westlake and did have some issues with sway even with a friction sway control installed. Could not imagine how bad it would have been without the sway control!
to help with this problem on the return trip home I repositioned the stuff we had packed onto the floor in the trailer. I moved the heavier stuff to the front and the lighter stuff to the rear.
Doing this made a huge difference.
Give this a try and see if it helps!

I suggest you weigh the popup and the tongue. Without those numbers - everyone is just guessing

How are the tires wearing? it is possible you have a bent axle giving you a slight toe in/out condition! just a thought.

Since your air conditioner sits behind the rear axle, it may be acting as a counter weight to your tongue weight causing it to be lighter up front. Maybe not but worth a thought.

I have a 2000 Westlake and thought I was going to end up in a ditch bringing it home from where I bought it last fall. The axle is too far forward - not nearly enough tongue weight. Two suggestions:
1) keep the low tongue weight in mind when packing, and put the heavy stuff up front, and more importantly,
2) get a sway bar. The sway bar made all the difference in the world - doesn't even try to sway anymore.
