If you think its bad now I was told that in the next 2 years that
gas will hit 10 dollars a gallon. If we dont come up with an alternate fuel soon we will all be walking to work. Everyone is driving smaller cars but until we come up with an alternate fuel hold
on to your wallets.

I was told that gas will go down to $2 per gallon in the next 2 years.

Here is how this is going to go down in my opinion: Fuel (heating oil included) will continue to rise to the point that the outrage will be at a "revolt" status. Even those defending the free market principles will become desparate. At this point the "smart govt" (sarcastic) will intervene, really screw things up badly and there will be massive shortages of the product that you cannot afford to buy anyways. Then at that point, the market will begin to stablize and the world economy will begin to recover. But there is going to be alot of hurt along the way. You'd better have more expendable income than the amount Suzie Orman recommends to survive this ride, I can tell you that much. Just my opinion, everyone has theirs.

Last week the news was predicting $10 a gal. Then by Sunday, it was $7. No one can predict what it will be.

Agreed, the only safe bet is that it will never be $1.25 again.

It wasn't a troll post. It was on our local news (not that they know either) But it was stated that gas may hit $6 by next summer and could eventually rise to $10....Like I said, who really knows, but the original poster was just stating what they heard.

Like I said before, the high/higher cost of fuel and taxes is the reason I will be a pauper when they bury me. I've been living it up pretty good, all my life, and you would think I dasn't complain.......
