I was told gas is going back down to $1.50 gal.

HMMMM! I wonder what would happen if the oil speculators said the price of oil was going back down to $80 barl. would the gas prices go down with it?

Being the incurable optomist that I am..

I "always look on the bright side of life.."

I drive about 500 miles a week doing my job.

I love to take trips with my TT.

Roads will be less crowded!!

Campground reservations will be much easier to get!!

I look forward to it!

Somehow I don't think things are going to be quite that simple.

I walked to work, 1 1/2 miles each way for 25 years in Oklahoma, 2 miles each way for two years in Beijing. Then I lost my job because oil prices dropped too low and the company layed off all the old guys (but paid us not to complain about it).

Let the price go up.

I've got this:

and this:

and this:

Now the more I drive the fuller my tank gets.

Don't we wish! I'd be happy if we could just get back to $2.50
dream on. I'm afraid it is not even half way to where it is going.

I imagine that the utility folks in the middle of the country are a bit scared right now.

At the current prices, electric space heat is cheaper than oil heat anywhere except Alaska, California and Hawaii. If people figure it out, China can make space heaters faster than we can build new power plants.

firedude thinks Mr. Hoseman now sits back in corner with very entertaining grin on face lol. ah heck it's only reached $6(US) per Gal. in BC now that's got to hurt since our dollars aren't far apart at all nowadays.;(

Hey Hoseman you should have been a bit more reasonable and said something like 8 or 9.
