For the price of vehicles today, if the Burb is still with you, $7K can get you a motor, SERTA trans, and front-end suspension rebuilt and fresh shocks all-around if you do most of the labor. You can swap and engine and trans in a weekend on the classic GM trucks, especially with DH already a wrench twister. If nothing else, put a powertrain in it and sell it at a much better price if it is good otherwise.

You'd love the Burb all over again with a 383, minor changes to the injection system on the 95, and a SERTA trans with a TRANS-GO shift kit, larger servos, and a big cooler.
