how often do the tires on my TT need to be rotated and how do you go about rotating them if you do?
when my FIL was helping me unwinterize the trailer he looked at the tires and recomend that I rotate them before too long.
What is your opinion. I am not sure the brand but I know they are brand new (last year) ST Tires.

I rotate them when I do my bearings.. so every couple of years..
i have a heavy corner so it helps even out the wear..

You might want to consider weighing your rig and double-check that you're towing it close to level and with tires properly inflated......if your F-I-L can see abnormal tire wear, it's ABNORMAL!

You could do a search on this Forum for `rotate tires' where there are 76 replies; including mine.
I carry two spares, one in each left and right storage compartment. At the end of the season I rotate ALL tires counterclockwise (looking down from the sky) so the spares are used. (That's a whole seperate subject)

Only rotate if you have uneven wear or want to get service out of the spare. Othewise, what's the point?
If you have uneven wear, find and fix the problem.
I'm free of prostate cancer for 5 years now.
All men over age 50 should get an annual PSA blood test. Mine had a low reading, but the yearly jump was significant. The biopsy showed cancer just entering the aggressive stage. Dr. Hackenslash removed it.

If you are like most people you'll nvere run them far enough to need rotating. Rotation is to equalize uneven tread wear and get all the miles from the tires. Trailer tires rarely/never wear out they just get old and dry out.

Rotation may not be much benefit but I had the locat tire shop balance the tires and then rotate them as they were putting them back on. Seemed to ride smoother.

On the TV or a car the front tires will wear differently than rear because of steering,on a TT they just follow each other the same way, they should all wear the same if everything is right,so it's really not nesessary, but it wouldn't hurt a thing if you wanted to rotate them.

We don't rotate ours. Don't run them over 7 years either. Do use metal valve stems, and get them balanced, when I replace tires.
