Hi there ... hey we're a week away from heading out on a 5400 mile trip, out to Colorado ... and following the Rockies up to Lake Louise and Jasper.

We're run the route before ... but with a much smaller rig.

Starting to plan my fuel stops in my head.

Last time, the Flying J in Limon, Co was a nightmare to get into ... even with a small trailer.

Have they improved it? Hopefully they completely rebuilt it, because it was really tiny a few years ago.

Thanks

We were there April 23rd and it was closed. We fueled at the place across the street. We had no problems except the stupid limit of $75 on a Visa card, had to take the card inside after the second swipe....still no big deal.

Thanks Lou ... no surprise that they closed it ... wonder if they are building a new store nearby. I'll keep the station across the street as we roll by!

It's open but it's one exit down and on the opposite side of I-70 from the old one. Brand new, spacious, and nice. Same exit as TA and McDonalds.

Ah ... great ... thanks. One exit east or west? I'm planning on dropping off down Rt 24, coming from the east.

Thanks rv2go .... I looked at the FJ website before posting this am ... and just saw a listing for Limon in the CO gasoline listing ... but the Limon entry had no icon by it, so I figured something was up.

I just went back to the FJ website and couldn't find the "news" about the new station. (Not doubting you ... I just want to see how I missed that this am when I was looking on their website).

Boy, I'm not going to miss that old station. It was really the pits.

Ah jeese ... forgive me for being stupid. I just revisited the FJ site and found the information about the new station under the "new station" pop out menu. Guess I probably should have looked there before posting this morning.
