One thing that I can think of is if you're lucky enough to afford fuel at today's prices and future increases is that there should be less folks traveling on the highways to campgrounds, NASCAR races, etc. therefore it should not be as crowded. Of course I have not seen much of a decrease in traffic or less folks at events. I've only seen some folks slow down a bit but not that many.

When you see a full size four wheel drive pickup blow around you at 80 MPH, it makes you wonder what price would make them slow down.

Oh man, I was just taking a drink when I read that. Now I have to clean off my computer screen!

Very funny, you made my day!

Unfortunately that logic only works if you had fuel in the tank to start with. I just filled up and spent $125.00 and the tank is not even full. Ouch! BTW, I live in California and I have a larger aftermarket tank. Good news is that it can carry more fuel with the larger tank. Bad, that it cost an arm and a leg to just fill up nowadays.

Now, see, that would be a problem. On my way to the gas station, I usually stop by the blood center and sell a pint or two of blood to afford the gas. It would be wasteful gushing from a venous wound! Ha!

Man, if I can make this much money storing fuel in my 2500HD ... makes me want to go buy a big bus with a 100+ gallon tank. Think how much money I'd been making then with the rising gas prices.

I don't know about where y'all are ... but around here ... fuel prices are going up almost everyday.

Thanks for letting me laugh through my tears.

I just invested a bunch of money in unleaded gasoline futures. With summer coming up and self-fulfilling prophesies from the oil companies of $7.00 a gallon fuel prices, it looks like a good move.

If it doesn't work out, I'll have to spend the last of my money to drive to LA and strangle my broker........

I heard that SW Airlines is flying with some very cheap fuel (comparatively speaking). They somehow pre-purchased millions of fuel before the prices started their increase.....wonder just how much they have left?

They have a rolling 10 year pre-purchase. So they are paying what the fuel cost 10 years ago.

The same thing is available to us if we want to buy 1000 barrels.
