Hi guys.

As a newbie I wanted to know if there is a website that lists ALL RV parks throughout the USA and Canada.

I have joined KOA and Campclub USA, but wanted to know if there is a complete list somewhere.

I am looking to head off to Vancouver/Whistler this weekend (from Seattle).

Thanks guys,

Cheers,

Mark

Markm I have found that between Trailer Life Directory and RV Park Reviews It does cover the bases with respect to the private commercial campgrounds. In addition there are both National and state campgrounds that can best be investigated by going to the various states and National Park Service.

I especially like Trailer Life Directory since I and look for campgrounds along specific routes I an interested in taking.. Then I can check out the campground reviews on rvparkreviews.

I find this site handy. It lists campgrounds by state. Campgrounds

There is no such thing as a 'complete' campground directory--unfortunately.
Most of the ones already mentioned do not begin to cover it.

If you go to Woodall's on line HERE you can look up any site you want.

You have to register (just like here) and it's free.

It means extra bucks, but I think, to see almost all of the CGs available, you've got to own Woodall's, Trailer Life, Passport America and KOA. For instance--my wife's sister lives in Green Bay. In Woodall's, the nearest CG was a 30+ mile commute. Trailer Life listed a county park just down the highway! There's still some CGs out there that are in NONE of these.

If you buy all the commercial directories, you still won't have a list of all the campgrounds and RV parks in the U.S. and Canada, because there are thousands of campgrounds that have no reason to list (they don't need to buy a listing to attract customers, or are free or nearly free, and non-profit), or have reasons not to list (they are open only to their memberships, or members of their sponsoring organizations).

The various directories (especially some on websites) may include some of the public campgrounds without requiring them to buy a listing, but won't include all of them.
