Hi guys.
As a newbie I wanted to know if there is a website that lists ALL RV parks throughout the USA and Canada.
I have joined KOA and Campclub USA, but wanted to know if there is a complete list somewhere.
I am looking to head off to Vancouver/Whistler this weekend (from Seattle).
Thanks guys,
Cheers,
Mark

Check my sig - I think we have around 19,000 but that does include trailer parks that we are slowly removing.
It's a constant work in progress of course.

Woodalls and Trailer Life are probably the two most complete directories available

FMCA Road Atlas shows campgrounds, Big Rig Friendly CGs, Rest Areas, Flying J, WalMarts, Super Walmart, and Crackerbarrel stores. It is a great navigator's compannion and we don't leave home without it.
For the way we travel and the routes we use campground memberships don't pencil out economically. We do however belong to FMCA, Good Sam and Escappees and make use of their discount programs, we also visit Elk lodges that provide RV parking.
I should add that we have two travel modes; get there and sightsee, often both modes on the same trip. "Get There" is stop close to the freeway for overnight, "Sight See" is find a campground about noon, kick back and visit the area. Towns that prohibit parking in Walmarts and such, also don't get my overnight campground business or tourist dollars, we just drive on by because I can "vote with my feet".

With some experience you may want to toss that KOA membership. The last three KOAs I checked with wanted in excess of $40 per night. Not in this lifetime.

There is no such thing as a 'complete' campground directory--unfortunately. We pass by CGs all of the time that are not listed anywhere! I guess most of them are too cheap to advertise. If there were a 'complete' book of them, I'd be one of the first ones to purchase it.

I got a New RV Road Atlas from the "Good Sam Club" It has all Camp Grounds clearly marked on every state, includes USA, Mexico, & Canada This is the 3rd one I have had. I really like it. If I remember it cost around $15.00

Hey Thanks guys,
I actually went to my local Camping World today to get a "free roof inspection", and picked up the WOODALLS Campgroup Directory.
Wow, talk about impressive! I never knew there were that many RV parks out there.
About 800 pages. Im not sure how many parks are listed but it must be thousands. From memory it was $15 with the CW membership discount.
Cheers,
Mark
