If this was sold as New(untitled) I would think that they should replace them. If it was used then you are probably going to have to buy your own tires but it never hurts to ask. This is just my opinion and will not hold up in court My 2005 Roo still has the original tires and I haven't seen any cracking. All I have done is use a tire spray(something like armor all).I don't cover them and they get a lot of sun where I park my trailer. A few years back there were some pretty shoddy tires put on some of the trailers(by all manufacturers) I happened to luck out and get the better grade of the same tire brand that people were having trouble with(Carlisle).
One way or another I would get those cracked tires replaced.Bob

It's a known problem with the tires Starcraft used on some '06 and '07 trailers. (I have an '07 XP 18RB.) When I picked mine up from storage in March, they looked like they had been sitting in the sun for years. I wouldn't tow it 30 miles to the dealer, they were so bad.

I called Starcraft, who referred me to the tire company. They in turn got me in touch with a local dealer, who replaced them under warranty. They actually offered an upgrade to the radial version of the tire, which has much better reliability according to the dealer. They charged me the difference between the bias-ply model and the radial model, $12 per tire. Very reasonable of them and well worth it, IMO. They replaced all three tires.

Call Starcraft and see what they will do for you.

If the cracks are not deep it could just be normal. It is not cracks that is always the concern but how deep they are. Since trailer tires are often questionable remember they could have been run low at some point as well.

the tires only have maybe 1000 km on them some of the cracks are half around the tire a couple mm thick. The dealership referred me to the tire dealer who now I am waiting to here back from. Too bad I have reservation this up coming weekend. Looks like drive way camping.

Put a push on the dealer to get new tires. Tell them you didn't buy your rig to leave it parked at home and make sure that you let them know that you have reservations this week end and of any penalties you will incur if you have to cancel.

My tires don't look like they are cracking but I have noticed that the lettering on the sidewalls look like they were inserted too deep and the rubber overlaps around them. difficult to explain. Have to upload a picture. anyone else seen this or have this? is this bad Keep forgetting to ask the dealer.

tires are your weakest link. get rid of them either by dealer or yourself. check when they were made usually on backside of tire( 2406 means tire was made the 24th week in 2006) also these tire shine products with petroliem will cause this. you can not afford to play around with tires.

Mine are cracking too, I'll make some calls this week. Found a set of Coopers locally that I'll go with if I have to pay for them, we'll se what the manufacturer says...
