I was tuning up da lady last weekend with da flashlight on. Found out in da morning that the couple next to us got quite a display of shadow action. Make sure you flip da flashlight off before you get funky.

I wasn't out last weekend so I didn't see you, but it has been my experince in camping around tenters that this happens frequently.

I'm trying to understand why would it be a "show" for other people in the campground to watch a "shadow puppet" show of you tuning up your Harley in your tent?

OOOOh! My DW just explained it to me! Duh!

Oh jeeze! First you guys tell us that when we camp we should leave the television at home. So, there goes that intertainment! Next, you guys tell us to keep our radios off because the music is annoying to fellow campers. Well, there goes that entertainment! Then you guys tell us not to blow our horns on our diesel trucks. There goes that entertainment! What left to do for entertainment? Walk around the campground and watch all the shadow shows going on from the PUP, Hybrid, and tent campers! Now, you're giving all those guys a warning to watch their lights and what they do with their ("Harleys")! Well, there goes the last good bit of entertainment in the campground. I guess its time to roll over and die!

I've heard of like show in porta-lets with Coleman Lanterns. Thank God I've not been witness to any such events.

It happened to me last fall. One of them thought about after a bit. That didn't stop the other noise!!!! There was beer involved. I ended up putting in my earplugs I carry for such instances.

That is why we leave the remote control lantern outside. It illuminates the inside just enough.

We are trying to learn to throw our voices, too.
