Go with the 1,200 lb equal-i-zer. You won't regret it. My dry hitch weight started at 575 and was about 300 higher when we got it loaded with our stuff and water.
well, my wife changed her mind and didnt want the note to go uo that much, only $50 a month. so right now we are keeping the PUP. i am so ready for a hard side TT. i will even be willing to go with one that is the same size as out PUP just to be in one. my only problem is the neg. equity in the PUP. the dealer made a really good deal on the surveyor 304le, so i might go back to see what he can do on his surveyor sv-234. we would actually gain, i think, from it, it is 2ft wider and had a bathroom. it also has the storeage door by the rear bunk where we can store our bikes and i dont have to buy a front mount hitch for my truck when towing the PUP. i love the PUP, but ready, with the 8 month old, for a hard side TT.
