Hi Guys:

I have a 2007 Jayco 27BH. I have a stupid question. I have lost the owners manual. I want to open the valves that go to the water heater. I remember closing two, of three of them last winter. There are two lines going into the heater, and they are teed before they enter the heater. Do I open the top, and bottom one, and leave the T valve closed ?

Any help appreciated.

Tks

if it's like mine, picture a large "H" with a valve at each bottom and one on the cross member. the 2 bottom ones are the inlet/outlet from hot water tank.
normal use the bottom ones are open and cross menber one closed-for winterizing it's reversed

Well, that didn't work!
Let me try this again. Ignore the dots. They are blank spaces.

Follow the lines. Left side is the cold "in" line. Right side is the Hot "out" side.

The lines make an H

You want water flowing into the heater through the bottom line, and water flowing out through the top line. Any valve between the two should be closed except when bypassing. So it sounds like you had it right in the first place.
