I've been subscribed to Good Sam which is 10% off.
Now that I am going to do some 'serious' full time camping, I'm going to need to purchase one, maybe two camping memberships that offer better discounts.
Which ones offer at least 50% off without a bunch of restrictions?
Thanks

None. Seems to me they ALL have restrictions of some kind. But we've used Passport America quite happily for many years. They give 50% off, but you do need to read the rules for each campground. Heck we had to do that with Good Sam as well.

I use passport america myself and am completely happy. I mean for $39 a year you can't go too wrong.
the other camping world one has a lot of duplication IIRC.
I dropped good sam as AAA, AARP etc. give same discount.

Not knowing the area in which you are planning to travel, I won't suggest Thousand Trails (of which I'm a member), but would say that many active travelers/campers enjoy Passport America for it's 50% savings (with restrictions), and of course Good Sam for it's 10% discount (with restrictions) as well as the ERS (roadside assistance). There are many memberships offering discounts - some have the same campgrounds as other memberships - Happy Camper, etc.
I enjoy my membership in TT and use it extensively, but if you would not be in the area of their preserves, it wouldn't be cost effective for you.
Passport America will pay for itself the first time you use it, or the second time for sure. It doesn't seem to have the newest CG filled with all sorts of amenities but they have all been all that we look for. They also do not tend to be in the most popular tourist spots, at least you'll be further off on the outskirts of the area.
But for the price you can't miss with PPA. Some of the PPA CG do have strange limitations tho, a lot are cash only.
Thanks! I can't tell you how valuable this forum is for me going full time. With all your help I won't have to make all those first timers mistakes. Thank you again.
Looks like Passport America, KOA, and Good Sam memberships are the winners that will offer me savings on my adventure across the US.
Now all I have to do is join the Escapees Club and decide if I want Texas or South Dakota plates on the MH and I think I will be all set.
