It's time for us to go back to regular 5th wheel. We have had a 38' Forest River toy box for the last four years but now, both the kids and the toys are gone. We're considering a "Colorado" by Dutchman (Thor) as well as a "Sundance" by Heartland.I would appreciate any first hand feedbake with these manufacturers that you might have.
Thanks

I don't know about Dutchmen but we have had zero problems with our Heartland. Here is the link to the Heartland Owners Forum. There is a section devoted to the Sundance.

We toured the Heartland factory and saw ours being built so I can say first hand that the materials and workmanship were excellent.

Good luck with whatever new fiver you choose.

You do what you gotta do. If you don't need a TH, it's great to utilize the room for living.

I now own a 2004 Dutchmen fiver. Have been looking to upgrade for sometime now and doing diligent research. Dutchmen is entry level and heartland is above average based on my research and owing one. Depending on how you will be using rig should be most important factor. for light use entry level is ok. medium usage go to above average or premium brand rig. I bought a like new used 2001 Carriage Cameo and the difference in it and the Dutchmen are like night and day. Best of luck in your decision. By the way the Dutchmen I have is for sale "cheap".

Have looked at both, Sundance is much better product than Dutchman. Sundance also tows better. Heartland really stands behind thier products. We are about to buy a Bighorn.
