Why wait until summer? The gas stations in Grand Rapids,Michigan have already set prices near the $4.00 ($3.999) per gal mark. There are actually cheaper prices over seas.As of this morning Havana, Cuba gas prices were $3.03. So much for the global economy. We have almost caught up to the rest of the world.

Here, 90 minutes from Grand Rapids, it was $3.74. I am sure it has gone up.

Wow, it's over $3 in Cuba?! That's gotta be a big hit on their budgets.

I was away in TX over the weekend, during which time it went up from about $3.50 to about $3.60 in Houston, and here at home it went up to $4.00 (if you round off). Guess we'll be paying somewhere around $5 for our trip this summer.

Saw diesel for $4.79 here in Mid-Michigan this morning. Wonder what it will be this time next week when folks are getting ready to head out for the long weekend

I keep hearing that West Michigan is consistently among the highest priced markets. I think that part of it is there are only two gas pipelines in. One is owned by a single company and the second is owned by a group. And the owner of the first is a major owner of the second.
