They have lost minimal pressure while sitting and it has been pulled from home to storage at least once each season even if it wasn't used. The disatnce is 30 miles from home to storage with about 18 of those miles on the freeway. It rolled smooth yesterday when I took it home.
I just mapped out the trip and there are two alternative ways to get where I'm going that put me on surface highways for well over half the trip. It's still a straight shot as both routes parallel the expressway and take me right where I'm going.
So now I can add to the situation the fact that, although the trip is 90 miles, only about 30-40 of it actually needs to be on the freeway. In fact, I could actually do the entire trip off the freeway. If I do choose to forgo the tires, I'll probably just stay on the main highways were speed limits are 45-50.

The 5-7 year rule on tires is kind of like the 80% rule on weight. A good idea but not hard and fast. Lots of people go more than 5-7 years on TT tires without problems and some change them every 3-4. YOu didn't say how old the tires are in total but, since you are thinking about parking it for some more years, I wouldn't spend the money for one short trip. Go and enjoy yourself. If all four tires blow, (I think very unlikely) then you have to replace them which is what you are talking about doing. If they don't you're not out anything unless a blowout damages your trailer which may not matter if you are going to park it anyway. There is always some risk.

I run on them, but take back roads so I could go a bit slower. Heck 90 miles would only be 2 hours at 45 mph.

I think would have to see them before I went so I could make the best choice. That being said, most tires that sit even one winter here are going to have a crack or two. I would go and just keep a close eye on them from the mirror and stop as needed to check temps/pressure. They did fine on the 30 mile trip home, right?

Yea, they did fine. I looked very closely at them again today. Three of them have zero cracking around the rims. One has very small lines. The sidewalls overall look real good. The only time I saw any hairline lines was when the two tires were kinda jammed up against the curb and bulged the bottom of the tire out. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't have noticed them.
Now that I saw how easy it would be to head up on the secondary main roads, I'm going to take it up and just stay off the freeway. However, I am sure they would do fine on the freeway.
Yes, I'm taking my triplets with me. And my wife and my dog. Even if I had a blowout on the trailer at 40-45 mph, it's not going to throw my 3/4 ton van around. I may inspect the spare and use it to replace the one tire I mentioned.

No but the damage caused from a blowout could cost more than replacing the tires. Happened to many here on the forums. I was always taught to err on the side of caution though. Cost shouldn't be considered over safety. IMO

If I considered this a safety issue, I wouldn't do it. I don't consider a blowout on a triler tire at 45 mph a great risk in reference to safety. I'm sure it would be quite the inconvenience, however.
After 2nd inspection, I think I overstated the compromise of their physical condition at first. They much better than I had described.
I'll report back Sunday night with an honest assessment of my decision.
