1 for both locks on the door, 1 for the compartments, and 1 for all the padlocks.

Discovered a couple of weeks ago, that my key fits my sisters camper door. I can't get in her compartments though.

I have three keys, one for the outside and inside garage doors one for the storage compartments and one for the padlocks, have a friend who is a locksmith, keyed everything the same took him about one hour, well worth it.

So it seems standard that a simple task for the Manufacturers to put all the same keyed lock on these units is to complicated. Going to look into changing them all out to the same as it is annoying.

Sounds familiar. When we brought ours home there were 6 different compartments requiring 3 different keys with no "ryhme 'nor reason" to any of them. In fact I only had 2 of the keys and couldn't even open one of the front storage compartment doors.

Went to CW and got barrel-type locks all keyed alike and changed them all out. Fortunately, I could crawl through the front compartment to open the other side.

Now I have 3 total - One for all the compartments, one for the entry door, and one for all padlocks for the ramp, hitch, and "chock'n locks".
