First rule of buying any RV, never, ever, never, let money leave your hands until everything is just like you agreed. Sorry to hear about your ordeal. Now you know why they say "If a salesman's lips are moving......"

You might contact your credit card company and have a chat with them. Tell them not to pay it.

"Does anyone know about LazyDay RV?"
--- "Lazy Days", the huge dealership in FL, or "Lazy Daze", the factory-direct class C manufactured in southern California?

You have ONE obligation...to be fair to the person looking at you from your mirror.
You have all the rights. Stand up for your rights. Tell the salesmen what you demand. Accept nothing less. You want an RV. They need to make a sale or they don't get a paycheck. There is a huge difference. If you feel like you're being treated unfairly, or treated like a fool, or whipsawed between sleazeballs, either immediately tell the general manager that you want a different salesman, or immediately say nothing and leave.
I'm free of prostate cancer for 5 years now.
All men over age 50 should get an annual PSA blood test. Mine had a low reading, but the yearly jump was significant. The biopsy showed cancer just entering the aggressive stage. Dr. Hackenslash removed it.

Some people have a good experience with lazy Days in Tampa and then some like myself have had experiences like you just had. I myself will never grace Lazy Days lot again, to purchase an RV, due to the way my wife and I were treated by their sales staff.

I have to agree that your tale of woe may indeed your own fault, I bet you felt something fishy from the beginning. Simple answer just don't buy the unit. My opinion; there are no bad salesmen, just bad customers. In other words, although a tad on the shady side, they are doing thier job. You are the only one responsible for making the deal you are comfy with....

Isn't "bad salesman" redundant?

First off, although rare, it seems, there are some really good dealers and salesmen (saleswomen) out there. We found one and couldn't be happier. They do exist so keep looking. Ours is a bit far away from you (and they don't sell Motorhomes)
Best of luck to you in your search.. This was a learning experience for you so when you find the next MH you are serious about buying, you will be much better prepared.
Remember that it is really a "Buyer's Market" at this time, and you do have all the power.
