It is time to replace my Trojan house batteries and Interstates have a nation-wide distributor network. I would like to hear of recent experiences with interstate batteries used for your coach, not chassis use. I know about AGM's, Trojan's, etc. and don't want to start a discussion on which is better.

All of my cards and trucks are using Interstate batteries. They last about 5 or 6 years for me.

I've been using Interstate Batteries for years in my trucks(pickup to 30 ton tow truck) for years. Have had one here or there that needed to be warranted but good performance overall.

I have been using very large interstate batteries in all 4 of our generators at work. Never had a problem.

My son says they are the best, but he works for Interstate selling them. I get them at dealer cost so all of my vehicles have them and so far they have been good.

They are nothing special. I've seen a lot of bad brand new ones put in tractor trailers over the years, just to have them pulled out a couple days later, cause they did not have starting power.

I had several Interstates in as many different vehicles. None lasted over 6 months. I won't buy another.

I think that there are only 3 battery companies in the US. Johnson Control, AC Delco, and Exide. Interstate and Diehard are made by JC.

Interstate is mostly a distibutor. I think their batteries are made by Johnson Controls. I am pretty sure you can go to Wal-Mart, Costco, or Sam's Club and get the same battery for less. I think the Trojan 6 volt batteries are better but its very hard to find a decent price. The Interstate guys wanted about $125 for their batteries. Costco was selling the same thing for $87.50. Wal-Mart was the cheapest at about $73. By the way the cases looked the same on all the batteries. I ended up buying the Costco battery.
