Never had a problem with the gas. I use gas in the lawnmower and snowblower, so those cans are filled as needed year around. In the MH all I do is fill it up just before it goes into storage for 5 months. I haven't had a single problem with it or performance in any of my MHs.

I have had gas go bad.. I do use Sta-bil (now) and have not had a problem since
One interesting fact is that in many areas there are "Summer" and "Winter" fuels
Gas bought in august may not work well in a small engine come January
But might come next July.
Nothin adds excitment like something that is none of your business

I'm a old fart who has never had a problem with stale gas, you know, the kind in a engine! And I was in a out of gas refineries for years. Can tell you other stuff it does to you though! But you don't want to know about that stuff!

I have an old Ford PU that runs on propane, mostly. It gets used more in the winter, plowing snow. I keep the gasoline tank full in case I run out of propane (dual fuel) and that gas is close to 3 years old now. About once a month i run on gasoline for a mile or so to keep the carb wet. I can't understand 'stale gas'.

i have a couple of vehicals that have gas a couple of years old they still start and run you can smell the old gas when there running the old gas does lack the power of new,i add some fresh gas couple of gallons to the tanks a couple of times a year to freshen the old stuff up,if or when they go back on the road one fresh tank of gas and they will run as befor thats just my opinion and what works for me i wouldnt run old 2 yr old gas in my mowers or garden tractor or generator thou or leave gas in them over the winter it gums them up to much.

Run some "Sea-Foam" gas additive thru your tank from time to time to eat the varnish out of your system.

Old gas doesn't smell like fresh gas but will burn.
2 year old gas and I drop to about 6 mpg a loss of 2 mpg. Takes about 2 or 3 fill ups to get back to the 8 mpg range.
