that link to XM sez that "we guarantee that your current radio won't become obsolete". I think mine will however.

Yes it does. My understanding is that existing radios will work as they always do. To get A La Cart needs a different radio.

From their pdf file after clicking A la Carte at the top of the page. - "Available only for subscribers using next generation receivers who select channels via the Internet."

Beware of their $2 invoice fee on every radio and every invoice. If the bill you quarterly you will be billed $2 every quarter. I have 4 radios with them and just noticed this last week. THey will remove this fee if you put it on automatic pay with a credit card.

Do you believe an invoice fee?
