you have to tell the DW that the lighted palm trees come in 7' and 2' also... no one should have just one... makes for a nice grouping...
lighted palm trees they can be found much cheaper than this though...
I can see it now, I'll be one on those campers that so many tacky lights it looks like a travelling Christmas display!! But just one note - I'm a concientious tacky light displayer - I turn them off at bed time!! By the way mine was only $25.00 (on sale).

I understand the power tongue jack, (I do the cranking) but not sure I can justify $700 for a bike rack. Lighted palm tree? Sweet! We use cheap Tiki torches. Remember, she who has the most/biggest toys has an empty purse and more******to break, replace, clean up and haul around. (But I would like a palm tree.)

Well; rather that buying some Chinese made, unnecessary stuff for the camper. I will be using the money to increase my carbon footprint by burning $200 worth of diesel to camp in the mountains this weekend.
Bye!

Too bad you cannot set up a gift registry for your RV adoption party.
Or maybe you can?

GREAT advice. "Live and learn" is a good motto to live by for the first 3-4 times out there. Pen and paper is an absolute, write down all the items you find you need as you camp. Enjoy!!

We've only had our TT about 5 weeks. We haven't even camped in it yet. We did leave CW empty handed. Now Wal-Mart, Sams, K-mart and our local RV dealer is a different story. We probably spent about a $1000 or so on everything so far and we don't even have our lights yet. I'm not even going to try and list all the stuff we bought. I just remembered I did get one thing at CW online. It was a pair of BAL chocks. Now they're sweet. Found a brake controller on Craig's list too, not to mention the TT itself.
Some of the money spent was going to used at All Trucks Carlisle this year for a set of rims and a set of Harland Sharp roller rockers. Looks like I'll have to choose one or the other this year.

Wow you guys got me hooked again. The last thing I bought was a folding coffee table for inside the 5er, and the screen house, and a couple of extra chairs, a bunch of fake hanging plants and a hanger. I don't know what I'm looking for this weekend but I'm leaning awlfully heavy toward the lighted palm tree. Hmmmmm. Recreational shopping it's good therapy.
