Finally picked up the new TT - Spree 290BHS - and made the journey home from the dealer today. While en route, I kept hearing a jingling noise that sounded like the chains dragging on the pavement. I stopped several times to check and nothing is dragging anywhere. The noise stops when I stop, and starts at around 5 MPH. It isn't coming from the chains rattling as the pitch of the chains is slightly different (tried rattling them myself). Any thoughts?

hitch/sway setup may be helpful to know. take it everything was working ok.
does it continue after 5 mph or does it stop? does it happen all the time or during acceleration, stopping, turning?? could try putting a few twists in the chains b4 hooking them up(just a few-not enough to make em stiff)
more info is needed on equipment. grunts, groans, grinds are fairly common and usually a lube problem but a 'jingle' is a new one

Might be the new leaf springs squeeking! Tiny little noises might be compared to "jingling"!

It may be the wind blowing the chains against some other metal trailer part rather than dragging.

Ours does this. There are some Metal Product ID/Ratings Tags (like dog tags), one on each chain (the Safety Chains I am talking about), that flip around and play wind chimes on ours the whole time we are moving. I thought we were dragging chains too, but not so.

Does it have electric brakes? I am assuming it does, if nothing else, I would just make sure there is nothing loose there that might rub the drum, I have seen loose calipers in cars make a jingling sound and it might do the same if that were the problem. Does the sound stop when you apply the brakes at speed?

Excellent suggestion. When new, ours made a noise as described by the OP. I could never find it. It turned out to be the adjuster screw had fallen out and was bouncing around inside the drum. I was fortunate, no damage to the brakes, and more important, no panic stop issues that might have caused an accident.

Hitch is Reese dual cam 1200# trunnion style. The noise is constant from about 5mph and persists at highway speed.

I think the problem is your radio is not turned up loud enough.
