For the past 3 years we have come up to Toronto and picked up our granddaughter to go camping. Each year we pick a different area of Ontario. This year we want to go to the Peterborough area or within 50 km to camp She is only 5 this year so we are looking for a nice campground that besides lake access has a pool and good playground. Looking at the OPCA site there are alot to choice from, but nothing beats first hand experience. I would appeciate any suggestions our members from Ontario can provide for a nice campgrouund.
Thanks
Barry

JacK_Diane
Have you stayed at Alpine? It was one of the campgrounds on my short list to call because it looked OK from the web site

SORRY,
As my wife tell's me all the time... I'm wrong again.......Beavermead is open for camping, we stayed there once (3 days) it's nice to be able to walk into downtown P'borough or take the water taxi for I think it was $3 each it drops you off at the Holiday inn dock/patio downtown.
