I'm with rdturn. For the money and easy to use and carry around, the $30.00 Sunbeam can't be beat. Clean a grill? That's as bad as cleaning a good smoker or coffee pot every time you use it. Just brush off the grate and throw the meat to it. I am on my second Sunbeam tabletop, they last about 4 years, and perfect for four nice size T-bones..........

We use Webber charcoal grills at home and on the road primarily for what we think is improved flavor. Backup is a Road Trip Coleman gas on the road. Cleanup of the Coleman and Webber is simpler by using aluminum foil liners to catch the drips.

we were in alabama when they had a clearance at a local walmart on their road trip grill's a few years back, so we got it for 75$. i was at rei last month and they had replacement grills, griddles and the stovetop for 9.99 so bought a few. we have treasured the road trip. this year, we are adding a portable smoker, the bradley propane smoker to our arsenal. it's a nicely done smoker that fits in a bag, and will handle a lot of food. they had them at sportsmans warehouse for 99 bucks. we did spareribs lastweek with hickory and the result was phenomenal. we keep it in the toad (the wrangler) along with our little honda gen.

this post reminds me that I wouldn't buy a real expensive grill myself but if I did I would certainly buy one that I could get replacement grates for.

hey i just bought the holland gas portable, do a lot of cooking, doinng good cuts oof steaks, not quite as good as a real hot grill, but evrything else i9s outstanding
