Just made last minute reservations at Frontier Town CG and they stated that they had about 10 sites left for water and electric only. Well it is good to know that alot of folks are not letting the fuel costs slow down their fun. I will be one of them...

Don't like the view?? Then change it and Go Camping

Since there is a very limited number of campgrounds, they tend to fill up early. However, you can usually find a site at Assateague National park if you go durring the week. Last August, we had a site reserved from Sunday through Wednesday.I noticed that about 1/3 of the sites were not occupied durring the week.So if you didn't make reservations, you will have a decent shot of getting a last minute site there.Of course they have no hookups, but they do have water,a dump station and I heard they are building bathhouses this year.Other than being hot,we really enjoyed our stay.

Heading out this weekend. With my work schedule, I have to always do it last minute and usually just drive in this time of year. I was surprised they had that many sites full for this weekend so I reserved a site, not my first choice, but I will take it.DW and kids will enjoy as I commute back and forth to work .

Frontiertown is a hard to get ticket all season. Even with Castaways coming on line, the demand for sites in OC is at a premium.

If it's listed in the Yellow Pages, the government shouldn't be messing around with it.
