We started to look a 2 different class a models and wanted to know what other people thought. The 2 models are the Fleetwood southwind and the Tiffen Allegro. Both models has driver side doors and 2 slides. We are trying to stay about 32 to 34 ft. We are unsure about the stove or refer moving in the slides. Have not found out about the roofs if they are flat or crowned. The warranty how long and if they are any good. I don't know of another brand that has the driver door. I am not going through another flat roof problem again. Our class c has that and you have to watch it all the time sense the hail storm got ahold of it last year. Let me know your thoughts.

Thank you
Mike

I am sure that you will get the "loyalty factor" here. I say Tiffen. Having owned a Fleetwood product once, I vowed never again.

While I haven't owned either brand my sense from many years of RVing, and comments by owners, is that the Tiffin products are of higher build quality than Fleetwood. Also sentiment on this forum favors Tiffin because of their fantastic customer support as opposed to negative comments about Fleetwood support.

If I was doing it again, Tiffin would again be the only name on my short list. Have had 150% everytime I have called their TechSupport and Service in RedBay.

They are both nice coaches. If I were buying right now, I would make a side by side comparison. First the chassis..has to be a Workhorse for me. Assuming they both were built on that Chassis..I would start slamming doors and drawers. The one that has better construction of basement doors, cabinets, bed storage, things like that..is the one I would get if the wife likes the floorplan and the decor that is.

Have owned a Fleetwood Pace Arrow for 1 1/2 years and haven't had any problems. As for the driver's door, we have one but don't use it. It's a long step up and down by exiting that way. I just use the main entrance.

Just curious why you want the drivers side door... it looks like you need a ladder to use it.... Tiffin over Fleetwood any day!
