Hello,
I have picked up a used Wanderer toy hauler. I want to put in additional tie down points and E track. The underside of the toy hauler is enclosed with plastic with insulation under that. Do I just cut a slit in the stuff and tape it up to get under it? I started to pull the staples from under the siding to see if I could completely drop the plastic down, but the stuff is wrapped up under the exterior walls. Is there some kind of tape that works well with this stuff (duct tape???) Any help would be appreciated.

Just get some long bolts and poke it through the insulation and plastic and through a backing board. Just make sure your backing board is long enough to overlap the stringers and you can see where those are by the staples.

Billgear we had our KZ in for repairs and dealer cut the underside covering like you said. Then when finished he used a special tape to cover the slit. He also told me they have this special tape for sale. So far there is 10,000 miles on the tape and it hasn't come loose yet. I sure wouldn't let it open as you can get water or critters in there IMHO.

You could use Eternabond. That stuff sticks like mad!!

I don't plan on leaving it open, more wondering it here was special tape to for the that. I've allready opened up where i need to place my through bolts. An yidea what the tape is called for this??

You could try gorilla tape. Just like the glue it ain't going anywhere.

Why not call any dealer that sells any kind of trailer and ask if they ever heard of it or have it in stock.
