I use the pump to move most of it out the low point drain under the sofa. Our dealer's tech showed us that tip and it works great to get most of the water out of the tank.

This may be the problem. I had the same thing on my Jayco. Evidently when they punched a hole to hook up the tank, the plastic piece went into the tank and covered the drain hole. Water drained slow.
Dealer managed to get it out and it drains fine now.
It may move by itself once you start traveling but the wire trick sounds good for a try.

I had the same experience (and same fix) with ours the first time I drained it. Drained much faster after I cleared the plastic shavings from the drain.

After bleaching my lines,i want to get the job done so i run outside shower and all low points til she's empty even if it takes 5 minutes or more and then refill and rinse again.
