One of several tunnels in the Needles area of SD - this one 8'7" wide. Very picturesque, crooked road.

I dunno, I think if I got a BlueBird or Monaco up to around 70 mph it'd make it MOST of the way thru! And then it would be a lot easier for the next guy with a 5er or A to pass thru! In theory!

Yeh, but the problem is there's a right angle corner just before the tunnel, so you'd end up spread across the side of the mountain!

We did this tunnel with our 2000 F350 dually - mirrors and back fenders had about 1" on each side to spare!! Got pics to prove it.

Looks like the same tunnel we found a "Cruise America" rental unit wedged half in and half out a couple of years ago. What a mess as the Iron Mountain road is a one way road so everyone behind them was ALSO stuck until they drug him out.
