Made reservations this past weekend to stay at Logan Landing CG at Alpine, AL just north of Childersburg, AL...and an easy 40 min drive from the house. We stayed there last year 3 times (one of them was Memorial Day) and plan on more times this year with gas prices as high as they are (and still rising).We hope the kids will come by over the weekend and visit even if they don't camp out.
This is our second outing this year. Our first one was at Paul B Johnson south of Hattiesburg, MS for 4 days in March over spring break. Wish we could have stayed longer but bad weather was coming in and we had to be back in home area for rest of the week to do some family things.

Last few years though, daughter has wanted to attend high school graduation that Fri night to see her friends from band graduate. And, they've had a parade to play in on Sat. West side of Michigan, Gonna take the kids to Michigan Adventure amusement park. Leave friday, go home on tues. Hopefully we get good weather, so far spring is dissapointing weather wise. Happy camping
