Hey guys,

I picked up a Webber portable grill last year and it's been great, until now. When I light it, the flame is only present on half the burner. If I close the lid and leave it for a few minutes, the rest of the burner eventually catches. I use the disposable 1 lb bottles.

Anyone else experiencing this? I thought it might be a dirty burner but I have cleaned it to no avail.

Have you cleaned the inside of the burner tube ? Spiders like those tubes.

Take a wire brush and clean the outside of the burner to clear out all the ports. Grease will drip down and clog an opening or two and will not let the entire burner lite.

Ditto on grease dripping being a real problem. Gotta clean mine quite frequently. Hoowever other than that it is a great BBQ for hunting/fishing trips.

Just cleaned the little ports on ours last night. No big deal. I wouldn't trade this little webber for anything, it's great.

Exactly what I use at home. On the road it's tough to drag around charcoal though.

You just can't beat that smoked flavour!

Same grill, same problem. I used a tip cleaner for a cutting torch to clean the jet, everything is fine now.

The main jet to the burner, it's on the outlet of the control valve/knob.
