It will be 19 years for us on September 9th. Been together for 24 years. Dated a year and lived in sin for four.

33 years last Sat May 10th but we had been together for a year before that. 1st one 6 years 1966-1971, 2nd one 3 years 1973-1975 that was a short but disastrous one it was more like - "You are now man and wife go to your corners and come out fighting and fighting and so on". We did come up with a DD in one of the clinches.
Altogether 42 years and I keep suggesting to DW I should get bigger anniversary gift than hers but she don't see it that way. Oh Well, at least she hasn't kicked me out yet, Mom only put up with me 19 years.

After living together for 3yrs we married on 01/02/1960. She traveled with me on weekends SCCA racing at first.Then, with three children aged 5,7,8 she sailed off with me on a 41' Ketch for 23 years. We have been RVing for the past 5yrs and will celebrate our 50th Jan 2, 2010. Life is Good!

Coming up on 24 years. I once met a couple on a cruise that were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. I asked the husband what his secret was to a successful marriage and his answer was "say yes and just do what you want anyway"
