As you can see in the picture, my walls in the tub area are the same kind of walls that are everywhere else in the camper. How do I clean these??? Just wondering about soap scum etc... Of course I will give it a good rinse after each shower and a cleaning after each trip. What cleaner would you suggest?

I would be tempted to install a tub surround.

First thing I'd do is get the duct tape off the thrown, and agree with outdoorsmand, you can go to lowes and get that whit textured stuff (a plastic product)and glue it up. I would also wait to see how the existing product works. You might find it works good enough for now. JM2Cents Bill

My personal thoughts. Don't clean them. Go to Home Depot and buy one of those DIY install tub surrounds and stick it on.

Haa haa very funny....the duct tape is gone now. This is a pic from the dealer that I downloaded.

I agee with doing a tub surround, BUT, for a real fast quick fix: pick up a couple of clear shower curtains, and attach them right at the very top of the walls with "push-pins". You should not have to use a lot of pins (thus, less holes).

"IF" you do not line the shower with either shower curtains or shower surround, make sure you keep a VERY VERY diligent eye on ALL the caulking. And I would not "scrub" the walls, wipe them down, but don't scrub as it's just basically vinyl wallpaper.

Well we got the camper used from a dealer. The previous owners took great care of it. It is 4 years old. I would assume they used the shower. I just never remember seeing a unit with no tub surround. Strange.

The walls in my shower are similar. After three years of weekends and vacations it still looks like new. All I do is use a squeegee on the walls after showering.

I have a hasp and lock on our john and charge admission! I would wait and see how they hold up and if not well would install a surround. No need spend the money if not needed.
