When I owned Airplanes, after tying them down and I was walking away I always turned around and had one last look.
I knew there would come a day when I would have to give up flying.
Three years ago I reached that point in my life.
Now I have been flying since the 1960's Just like camping.
I have owned tents, pop-ups,van campers and travel trailers.
While I never get the pure delight of looking at my campers like I did my Planes, I still stop and look back no matter if it's in the drive or sitting on a camping site.
Am I alone in doing this or do I have fellow campers who just can't resist "one Last Look"?

I actually go out of my way to do it. My wife thinks I am crazy.

I run away from mine. When I look back, I see black streaks, dents, fading roof vents, rust on the frame.....JUST KIDDING. I finally got a good one and after using it for 17 months, it still feels like the first time. And still looks like new with the recent wax job. Aint campin fun

Don't like the view?? Then change it and Go Camping

I not only look back, I always take a photo. I have one for every camping trip, every spot.

Well, almost every spot.. I do not have one here at home where it is stored, But I can see it at this very moment, looking out the window of my office..

It is a beautiful thing, yes it is..

Sometimes I go out in mine and have a beer and watch a TV show. And this is while it's in my back yard ;-)
